FRANKFURT, GERMANY -- As part of a liquidation agreement with Nutrinova, chemical distributor Kaltron Pettibone has agreed to stop importing acesulfame K (Ace-K) made according to the Chinese manufacturer Zhangjiang reliance Chemicals Co. Ltd. into the U Nutrinova invented Ace-K and markets the sweetener beneath the Sunett brand. Pettibone also agrees not to import any other Ace-K made on the process covered under Nutrinova's U patent.

The action is part of the company's ongoing patent enforcement strategy, which Nutrinova says has outcomeed in two favorable court
