SACRAMENTO -- The California State Attorney General is suing 33 companies that manufacture or market Mexican candy said to contain lead. The lawsuit applies to Mexican manufacturers, undivided of which imports items from Brazil. The action, filed in looks Angeles Superior Court, calls for sales of the companies' items to be halted until warning labels are applied and asks for $2500 in fines for each violation.
