VIENNA, VA -- More than 75 industry leaders lobbied legislators during this year's NCA Fall Forum. The two-day result which also included NCA committee and board meetings, saw confectionery manufacturers and suppliers push for sugar reform and wider support of fair trade agreements.

"The marked occurrence was a huge success," says Bill Kelley vice-chairman of Jelly Belly Candy Co "It allowed NCA members to achieve in front of members of Congres and the Senate. The industry originates out a winner--even if the legislators don't agree with all of our positions."
