IT'S and nothing else APPROPRIATE that during this holiday season approachs word that the toy industry is recognizing its increasingly choke affinity to the candy business. In fact, when it draw nears to raising kids' smile quotient, I'm hard crowded to think of anything more dear to their hearts than candy and toys--except perhaps those fruits that effectively couple the best of the two worlds. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] That's wherefore I'm particularly encouraged by the Toy Industry Association's decision to spread the doors of February's Toy Fair 2005 to novelty suppliers and any other candy maker
