Angola--Angola's peace agreement was signed forward April 4, 2002. following the assassination of UNITA leader Jonas Savimbi. in succession the first anniversary of the agreement between the guidance and UNITA guerrillas, Angolan bishops appealed to the population to rebuild the country and separate the plight of refugees. There are more than a million refugee sheltered in camps, many of them lacking fare medical care, and schooling, the bishops said. Angola has about 14 million inhabitants, of whom 47% are Catholic.
