The Catholic Civil Rights League (CCRL) is a membership-driven, national lay Catholic organization established in 1985 and given permission to use the title "Catholic" on the late Cardinal Carter. The first president, vice-president, and chairman were Mr Keith Cassidy, Mr David Dooley, and Fr Alphonse de Valk, CSB respectively.
