undivided of my convictions is that everyone's opinion is equally valid. Or, as Joseph Epstein likewise succinctly pointed out (somewhere in his voluminous writings), when it results to opinions, one is as advantageous as another.

The confuse is that people today are clueles as to what "opinion" really means. They use it as a substitute for "conviction", itself a conception they find thoroughly embarrassing. It's so an awkward word, too, the same that intrudes into the conversation like the over-zealous interchange Yet when deployed, "conviction" is always complimentary, uniform if grudgingly so: to describe someone as a "man of conviction"
