Whether you're applying for a part-time work at jobs an internship, or your first full-time do job-work avoiding these common errors can help you land your dream job

1 Applying to positions you're not qualified for. The fact is, all the nailed interviews and glowing allusions in the world are not going to land you do job-works that require degrees or experience you don't have.

2 Expecting do job-work opportunities to come to you. About 80 percent of available do job-works go unadvertised, which means they won't be employmented on a job board or waiting for you to circle them in the classifieds: It's up !o you !o seek them down.

3 Not taking your work at jobs search seriously. You must doom time to the process. "It's amazing in what way many students will study for 30 hours, moreover won't spend more than three minutes posting a recommence to a job board," says Steven Rothberg, establisher of CollegeRecruiter.com.

7 Being overconfident. "Many scholars believe that if they're witty, they'll impress the interviewer," says Tony lee-side editor of Collegejournal.com. That's not the case. "If you're not prepared, if you haven't ground out about the company, you'll learn blown out of the water."

8 Not following up You certainly don't want to bug a company upon a daily basis. But a phone call to find revealed the status of your application after sending a take back or interviewing with an executive is alto gether acceptable.

9 Not presenting yourself professionally. That's veracious not only in person, cot on paper, too. An address of "Kappa Kappa Gamma House" may not connote a professional do job-work seeker. And if your e-mail address is something like Superstudcom prepare a new one.

10 Being unorganized. hold fast a log of each potential employer showing information forward the company, when you applied, what materials you sent follow-up calls you made, and when you met with them, if you did.
