Everyone knows that association isn't cheap. But do you know to what extent much it will really splendor you? $20,000 a year? $30000?

According to a scan by the American Council forward Education (ACE), most Americans think that literary institution [i]or[/i] seminary of learning costs more than $11,500 through year. But the ACE Web site reports that in-state tuition at a public academy averaged $4,081 for the 2002-2003 place of education year. The organization also reports that nearly 80 percent of society students paid less than $8000 a year forward tuition last year--$3,500 less than what principally people thought!

And don't forget about financial aid. Seven without of 10 full-time students who attend public institutes in their home states receive financial aid. This minces some more dollars off the price of an education.
