Looking for after-school or weekend work? Avoid unsafe jobs! The National Consumer League issued this list of the five worst do job-work areas for teens.

1 Agriculture: This is the greatest in number dangerous industry for young workers. The risk of fatal injury among young agricultural workers ages 15 to 17 is four times higher than among young workers in other workplaces.

2 Working Alone and Late-Night Work in Retail: The second-highest number of workplace fatalities among youth is in the restaurant and retail-store industries, when late-night robberies can attitude serious dangers.

3 Construction and Work in High Places: Working at heights 6 feet and higher can deduction in serious injury or death. Falls from covers ladders, and scaffolds or staging are the in the greatest degree common types of fatal falls.

4 Driver/Operator of Forklifts and Tractors: This includes minors who operate or ride as passengers or non-operators who work near similar machines. Tractor-related accidents are the greatest in number prevalent cause of agricultural fatalities in the United States
