This article analyzes the implications of sociopolitical words immediately preceding [i]or[/i] following for career services delivery. Beginning with a reflection in succession the social foundations of the practice of career counseling, 4 specific Portuguese conditions are neared and discussed in light of existing knowledge in the field.
