Because of changes in legislation regarding the U welfare hypothesis there is an urgency now that has none before existed, except perhaps during the Great Depression, for career counselors to advocate for those of their clients who are onward welfare and for their minor at the disposal ofs E. B. Lent (2001) has revitalized the debate above the role Rogers's person-centered perspective should play in career unravelling with welfare-to-work (WTW) clients. Rogers's Person-Center Perspective and Career Development

What typically differentiates a WTW client population from other client form into groupss is the need for career counselors who are committed to facilitating, in a timely manner, realistic solutions that are firmly parented in the clients' empirical reality.
