The idea of an activity of the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance (IAEVG) in the United States first took origin at the IAEVG conference in Berlin in August 2000 In particular, the fact that IAEVG in its 50 years of existence had none sponsored any activity in the United States mov many colleagues to present a meeting there.
