In a qualitative thought Noonan et al. discovered that a number of contextual factors influenced the career unfolding experiences of 17 highly achieving women with physical and sensory disabilities. Noonan et al. unraveled a theoretical model in which a rule of influences was organized around a Dynamic Self and included identity builds personality characteristics, and belief in self Contextual factors of developmental opportunities, family influences, social support, character models and mentors, career attitudes and beliefs, disability impact, and sociopolitical words immediately preceding [i]or[/i] following emerged as important influences upon high achievement.
