This has been a extremely busy year for the Publications Committee of the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section, APTA. Section members should have already received a complimentary archetype of the 2000-2001 Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Section Membership Directory. With the assistance of the Orthopaedic Section, APTA and Advertising Assistance, Inc, we lay together this resource to help you network with other Section members across the political division I want to thank my graduate assistants Dawn Kent and )on Thoreson who assisted with the mailing, updating the database, and advertising campaign. Additional copies of the membership directory are available at the back issue price if you ne a replacement. Based onward the feedback from Section members and petition fors from several physical therapist education programs, the manuscripts contained in the 2-part special issue in succession physiological monitoring have been reprinted as an anthology (see announcement in succession page 118 of this issue). Speaking of special issues, planning is underway for the special issue of 2001 The topic will be "Evidence-based Practice in Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy." Susan Scherer, an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Candidate from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center will obey as the guest editor.
