As I bring to a period the books for 2000, the Section had a same good year with one exception. Our downfall was that we were just a little late to begin our endeavors in the stock market. There was about a $1700 los of our initial investment. Hopefully this will change in 2001 On the brighter side, the Section went approximately $6000 across budget, but our income was approximately $12000 greater than count uponed The Section had budgeted for a $2000 los to screen the membership directory. It appears our toil income is close to $4000 however does not take into account our portfolio los and a tie of possible outstanding 2000 costs Publications, which included the Journal, membership directory, and the anthology was approximately $12000 from one side of to the other budget but this was offshoot by a record $29,073 in income.
