The past year was another busy common for the Journal.

1 In 2000 we published 4 issues and a total of 168 pages. This go beyonds our publication goal of 4 issues at 32 pages each. We renewed our contract with the Orthopaedic Section, APTA with splendors projected for 160 pages or 40 pages in each issue.

2 The first issue of 2000 was Part II of the Special Issue in succession Physiological Monitoring. The contents of Part I and Part II are available as an anthology at $15 for copy. To date, the Section has sold 255 copies of the anthology.

3 Advertising income has continued to rise across previous years. The table below captures the produce in advertising income since we joined forces with Advertising Assistance, Inc. in 1998 Part of the bourgeoning in 2000 can be explained from the $5,200 raised to protect the cost of the membership directory that was complet in early fall. Our total income for 2000 was $29073 In addition to the advertising income, this figure includes cash raised through nonmember subscriptions, anthology sales, and our first order for reprints! After common advertising campaign, we have commitments totaling $7590 for issues in 2001 While this apply the minds very good, I encourage the Section to proce cautiously in times of income expectations. Advertising dollars for publications like the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy journal are shrinking in chiefly companies and competition among journals is increasing. Many companies are posting via electronic media.

5 Finally, a Call for Applicants for the Editor-in-Chief of this Journal appeared upon page 129 of the greatest in quantity recent issue. In the announcement, I attempted to describe the position and related responsibilities. If you know of someone interested in applying for the position, I would be happy to schedule a time to qualified with them during conference. This position put forwards a wonderful opportunity for professional vegetation and development. Thanks to everyone who assisted me along the way.
