CSM 2001 was auspicious in many ways. First we signed up a number of just discovered members to the Section. Many were just discovered student members. Members of the Section sponsored many of the observer members and a few joined onward their own. The compendium was a hit again this year. We gave away and sold across 115 copies. We ran disclosed after 100 so the remainders were emailed to those who submitted email addresses. The emails had to be sent not at home in 3 parts since they were with equal reason large; many of the server I sent them by the agency of could not handle the total size at undivided time. The preconference course was also felicitous and all the extra copies were sold Additionally I emailed 5 copies of the preconference course after getting back residence If you know of anyone who has not received the Compendium or Preconference materials please contact me ASAP to such a degree I may get these sent public electronically. For CPS Section members the Compendium is released Non-CPS section members must pay $1000 for the Compendium. The preconference course materials are $2000 to anyone who wants it (members or nonmembers). Total sales this year for Compendiums, Valentines, and preconference course syllabus amounted to $46600 We will be looking into the possibility of improving access for Section members to the Compendium prior to conversation If possible the compendium will be placed forward the Section web site. Another potential is to generate a list obey to notify all members when the compendium is available likewise you may be able to down load it easily to your hold computer. If anyone has any other suggestions, please perceive free to let us know your ideas.
