The past year was another busy undivided for the journal. 1 In 2001 we published 4 issues totaling 158 pages. This surpasss our publication goal of 4 issues at 32 pages each. We continue to have a contract with the Orthopaedic Section, APTA with take away froms projected for 160 pages or 40 pages in each issue. 2 The final issue of 2001 was a special issue in succession Evidencebased Practice. Special thanks to visitor editor, Susan Scherer, and the authors for their contributions. 3 Although down from 2000 advertising income in the past year was the next to the first highest in the history of the Journal. The below captures the shooting in advertising income since we joined forces with Advertising Assistance, Inc. in 1998 Part of the significant germination in 2000 can be explained by dint of the $5200 raised to cloak the cost of the membership directory that was complet in the early fall. We continue to encourage the Section to proce cautiously in boundarys of income expectations. Advertising dollars for publications like the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal are shrinking in principally companies and competition among journals is increasing. Many companies are advertising via electronic media. 4 Officer and Committee Chair Reports for the remaining issues in 2002 are: Volume 13 Issue 2 April 15 2002 Volume 13 Issue 3 July 15 2002 Volume 13 Issue 4 October 15 2002 To insure publication, please submit your report upon or before these dates. 5 The transition of the Editorial Office has been luckily transferred from St. Ambrose University to Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Respectfully submitted,.
