This issue contains a variety of articles, which I chance of a favorable result will appeal to many of you. Dr Tanya LaPier and colleagues current a case study that illustrates an alternative approach to the traditional archetype of cardiac rehabilitation in a patient following percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty. In a follow-up to the of the best issue on Evidence-Based Practice that was published in December 2001 solicit Scherer and Dr. Marcia Pearl provide us with ideas forward how to teach and integrate evidence-based practice in the physical therapy education curriculum. Four papers are provided summarizing about of the informative educational sessions at the Combined Sections Meeting in February. Thank you to the authors who were willing to share the information with our subscribers. After reading them, I think that you will descry evidence of the excellent programming that is provided at CSM This issue also contains the Linda Crane Memorial prelection Award that was delivered according to Scot Irwin at CSM in February. I was not fortunate enough to have known Dr Crane forward a personal level, but when I think upon the lectures that have been delivered in her memory and honor, I am inspired by way of the significant contributions she made to the Section and to the profession of physical therapy. Finally, I encourage you to read the literal sense from the President, the reports from the committee chairs, and the business meeting minutes. The officers and committee chairs welcome your input.
