Program planning is well underway for CSM 2005 The annual 'Program Chair Retreat' was held at APTAs headquarters in Alexandria, VA in July This meeting provided a forum for networking, general dialogue, question solving, and directed discussions regarding propos CSM programs. Listed are propos CSM 2005 sessions that will be reviewed in the coming month Not all proposals can be scheduled, moreover after this meeting, programming will advance to a more harden planning stage. Potential Programming for CSM 2005 includes the following topics: * Linda Crane Lectureship * Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Research: Platform Presentations * The Year in Review: Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Literature Update * Contemporary Issues and Strategies in the Exercise Management of the Obese Patient * Skeletal Muscle Dysfunction in Cardiac and Pulmonary Disease * Yoga Therapy in COPD: East adapteds West on Breathing Techniques * Physical Therapy Management for Pectus Excavatum (sunken chest) and Other Related Postural Deficits in Children * Cardiopulmonary Issues in the CVA Population * intensity Cost of Assistive Devices: Are We Really Facilitating Improved Function? I always value Cardiovascular& Pulmonary membership feedback, and I expectancy the membership will continue to submit proposals and ideas for CSM It's at no time too early to program plan.
