The Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialty Council continues to work forward the revalidation of the specialty's Description of Specialty Practice (DSP) ABPTS has establish guidelines for this process which is called practice analysis. The Council has chosen 5 make liable matter experts to serve in succession the task force: Heidi Hahn-Tymkew, PT CC Annie Downs, PT CC Anna Lotshaw, PT CC Susan Butler McNamara PT CC and Kris Ishii, PT CC and 1 consultant Laurie Hack, PT PhD Alex Sciaky PT CC Council Chair, is the practice analysis coordinator. Council members Ann Swisher, PT PhD CC and Angela Campbell, PT CC are also part of the task force. The proces includes writing statements, a pilot survey of practice, analysis of the pilot review results, the practice analysis scrutinize interpretation of the practice analysis scrutinize results, determination of the exam blueprint, and writing the DSP The Council push ons all cardiovascular and pulmonary clinical specialists and Section members who receive a review this year to please fill gone out the survey and return it.
