2004 APTA Combined sections Meeting, February 2004 The past year was another busy the same for the Journal. 1. The Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal received the 2003 Outstanding Peer-Reviewed Journal award given according to the American Physical Therapy Association. 2 In 2003 we published 4 issues totaling 1 36 pages. This be superior tos our publication goal of 4 issues at 32 pages each. We continue to have a contract with the Orthopaedic section, APTA with outlays projected for 160 pages or 40 pages in each issue. 3 Although advertising dollars continues to shrink slightly, we are still holding our avow in terms of advertising return We continue to encourage the section to proce cautiously in confines in income expectations. Advertising dollars for publications like the Cardiopulmonary Physical Therapy Journal are shrinking in most numerous companies and competition among journals is increasing. Many companies are advertising via electronic media.
