This issue of the Journal contains a review article by dint of Dr Michael Welsch and Tracie Parrish onward the pathophysiology of heart failure as well as implications for exercise therapy. The manuscript is quite comprehensive and provides an superior review on the mechanisms of heart failure. The Director of the Office of Research Services at LSU Health Sciences Center Dr view Kratz, somehow found the time to write this issue's Research Corner. His topic is the impact of HIPAA forward research. He pays particular attention to the impact HIPAA and the Privacy mastery has had on case studies and retrospective analyses, 2 research designs that are everyday in the physical therapy literature. Several presenter from the Combined Sections Meeting took the time to write first-rate reviews on the topics they readyed These written reviews should be a great shortage to the PowerPoint handouts that were placeed on the web site. Donna Frownfelter's Linda Crane lesson is also contained in this issue. The topic she chose to existing was titled "Excellence and Artistry: Is it a Thing of the Past?" She readys several thought-provoking ideas on the topic that I am infallible that you will enjoy thinking about. Please don't forget to read Dianne Jewell's President alphabetic character The Board is working upon several important issues on behalf of the Section. The issue I am principally excited about is the upgrade of the web site. I foresee that this upgrade will have a powerful positive impact in the coming on the Journal. The Section owes a big thank you to Diane Madras for her years of being the tender webmaster for our Section's web site. Thanks Diane! Finally, in reply to member input, the Journal is remarkably committed to publishing case reports. The Research Corner in the previous issue by dint of Tanya LaPier provides an of the best quality model for writing a case report. I am hoping to behold some submissions of case reports through the summer. Have a happy and safe summer!
