CANADIAN BANK ISSUES BIODEGRADABLE CARD

Toronto-based Canada Trust originate a way to underscore its commitment
to
the environment and to its affinity card program with the Canada
Trust
Friends of the Environment Foundation this month according to issuing the first
biodegradable credit card.

The card is made of a plant-based, to the full biodegradable polymer
substance called Biopol, and is as durable and functions as a plastic
card would. Conventional plastic cards are made of polyvinyl chloride.
