Push For Need-Based Bankruptcy.

Affirming the position credit unions have taken regarding bankruptcy
reform, Janet Kubica, president of Postmark Credit Union of Harrisburg,

Pa., testified upon Capitol Hill this month that needs-based bankruptcy
exhibits the best opportunity to achieve meaningful change. More
bankruptcy reform legislation, in the shape of HR 833 lately
was
introduced in the House of Representatives. Kubica's testimony came
before a hearing of the House
