Citibank secures ADA Card from Mellon Deal

Mar. 29 1999 (CARD recently made knowns Vol. 14, No. 7 via COMTEX) -- just discovered
York-based Citibank [C] enrolled an agreement last week with the
Chicago=based American Dental Association's subsidiary, ADA Financial
Services Co (FINCO), below which Citibank will manage and market
an
affinity credit card program to ADA members.

The deal came disclosed of Citibank's agreement to acquire Pittsburgh-

based Mellon Bank's [MEL] card portfolio, which had contained the
ADA
