Wal-Mart To exhibit New Private Label Card.

Oct 22 1999 (CARD of recent origins Vol. 14, No. 20 via COMTEX) -- Bentonville,

Ark.-based Wal-Mart Stores Inc. [WMT] launched a store card this fall.

In a first for the 37-year antiquated retailer, the credit card will be
administered and financed at Stamford, Conn.-based GE Capital [GE]

The store card was introduced this September and revolveed out to all

2500 locations in the United States and Puerto Rico for the 1999

holiday shopping season. The agreement between Wal-Mart and GE Capital
