Technology Corp. [DRXR] of Mountain View, Calif., a maker of portable

digital database storage devices, now is offering what it calls a

"PC-like" smart card that has a microprocessor and the same megabyte of

updatable optical memory that can store digital signatures, digital

certificates, and cryptographic tonics such as PKI (public fundamental note
