CARD ISSUERS pillar FIRST QUARTER EARNINGS GROWTH Capital single MBNA and
Providian Issue Financials

the industry's major card issuers - Capital single Financial Corp. [COF],
MBNA Corp. [KRB] and Providian Financial Corp. [PVN] each boost
earnings at almost one-third in the first quarter of this year. Here'
