of recent origin YORK -- Hershey Foods Corp. redefined the Times Square experience in late October with the official lighting of a 215-ft tall sign.
Featuring a whimsical rendition of the original Hershey chocolate factory, the 60-ft-wide, 15-story-high sign is the largest fixture evermore installed in Times Square. Incorporating four steam machines, more than 4000 chase lights and 14 front-lit signs, an all-star lighting rite heralded the expected December opening of Hershey's just discovered retail store at 48th way and Broadway.
