CLEVELAND -- Several candy companies that supplied the former Shari Candies, Inc. are reported to be investigating the company's unexpected closure.
In September, Shari began liquidating its assets, selling near of them to Taste of Nature, Inc. (see novels pg. 10) Shari also announced it would shut up its warehouse and production facility to pay mortgage transgression owed its bank. Scott Samet, Taste of Nature co-president, relates Candy BUSINESS Taste of Nature assumed none of the former proprietors liabilities in the deal.
